He practiced his blocks and parries, his arms moving swiftly and efficiently to deflect imaginary blows.

As he moved through the different forms and techniques, Alaric felt a sense of focus and determination fill him. He was completely absorbed in the task at hand, his mind and body working in perfect harmony. He could feel his muscles burning, his breath coming in short gasps, but he pushed through the discomfort, driven by a desire to improve, to become stronger and more skilled.
